Lara Crouch joined Beacon Global Strategies as an Associate in July 2016.
Prior to joining BGS, Ms. Crouch completed a David L. Boren Fellowship in Beijing, where she studied advanced Mandarin Chinese at Tsinghua University. In addition, she interned for the director of the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy, providing research support on U.S.-China relations and Chinese foreign policy.
Previously, Ms. Crouch was the research assistant for Asian Studies at the American Enterprise Institute. She has also interned at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and at Strategy and Force Development, Office of the Secretary of Defense.
Ms. Crouch holds a Master of Arts in Asian Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she was the 2014-2015 Dulles Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy and served as the Managing Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Asian Affairs.
Ms. Crouch earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in History and minor in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
