Cassidy Chiasson Joined Beacon Global Strategies LLC in July 2019.
Prior to joining Beacon, Ms. Chiasson worked as an intern with The Chertoff Group. There, she assisted on a variety of client projects by conducting open source analysis on geopolitical risks and authoring weekly briefs on cybersecurity, aviation security, and terrorism.
Previously, Ms. Chiasson was a Research Intern with the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she coauthored a report on Congress and Foreign Policy, in which her work focused on existing foreign policy archetypes and U.S.-Russia relations. She also worked as a Political and Economic Affairs Intern at the U.S. Embassy in Bern, Switzerland, where she covered a variety of issues, including Swiss-EU relations, Swiss-Russian and Swiss-Chinese relations, as well as cybersecurity, migration, energy, and drug policies. Before her time with State, Ms. Chiasson interned in the Office of the Republican Whip, Steve Scalise (LA-01) and the Office of Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-04).
Ms. Chiasson earned her Master of Arts in European and Eurasian Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, with a focus on Diplomacy and International Security Policy. She graduated with Honors from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.A. in International Studies.
