Anna previously worked in the Senate, most recently as Senator Tom Cotton’s foreign policy legislative assistant. She was responsible for advising on and contributing to foreign policy proposals and strategies as part of the Senator’s national security team to support his work on the Armed Services Committee. She also worked for Senator John N. Kennedy, supporting his defense and energy portfolios.
Before serving in the Senate, Anna worked for a Colombian NGO, Fundación el Origen, to develop and implement the Global Partnership Program to expand the NGO’s global reach. She also spent four years as a program manager for Transatlantic Networks, a foreign policy consulting and education center in Germany. There, she planned and executed various long-term projects on cultural exchange, security, emerging tech, and trade issues.
She has also completed internships with the United States Consulate in Leipzig, Germany, the Regional Representation of the European Commission in Bonn, Germany, and three in Congress with Congresswoman Virginia Foxx, Senator Thom Tillis, and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for ranking member Senator Jim Risch.
Anna holds a B.A. in political science, sociology and media studies from the University of Bonn, Germany, and graduated from the Transatlantic Masters Program UNC Chapel Hill in 2022.
