Prior to joining BGS, Alex was a Senior Consultant with Guidehouse’s Defense and Security segment where he advised government clients on national security innovation efforts focused on data modernization, public resilience, crisis communications, and strategic foresight. Previously, he supported digital transformation projects at the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute. Alex also held positions in the U.S. Senate and at the Project on Middle East Democracy.
Alex holds an M.A. in Intelligence and International Security from King’s College London where he studied the impact of emerging technologies on defense, security, and intelligence and wrote his dissertation on how China’s evolving cyber operations have impacted U.S. cyber policy and national security. He also holds a B.A. in History of Public Policy from the University of Santa Barbara, California where he focused on the history of U.S foreign policy.
