Prior to joining BGS, Ms. Medina served as a Digital Policy Specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA). In this role, she led strategic engagements with foreign governments to shape international digital policy frameworks, promote global alignment on AI governance, and strengthen the competitive position of U.S. AI and digital service exports in key global markets.
Before ITA, Ms. Medina was a Research Analyst at the Bertelsmann Foundation, a transatlantic think tank, focusing on digital policy and trade issues in the European Union. She was also a Program Officer at the German American Business Council and interned with the BMW Group’s Government Affairs office in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Medina holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs with a concentration in Technology Policy from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Penn State University.
