Prior to joining BGS, Jacob was a full-time graduate student at Harvard Kennedy School, where he focused on national security policy, economic statecraft, and international trade and technology policy. He concurrently served as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Kennedy School Policy Review and completed his thesis on US-China economic relations on behalf of a US congressional office. Before graduate school, Jacob was an Associate Research Fellow at the NDIA Emerging Technologies Institute, where he conducted research and analysis on emerging technology, defense industrial base policy, and legislative, appropriations, and acquisitions-related national security topics. He has also interned with the House Energy & Commerce Committee, the US Office of Personnel Management, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
Jacob holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Political Science from the George Washington University.
