Kaitlyn Flynn

Prior to joining BGS, Kaitlyn was a graduate student at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she focused on Indo-Pacific security dynamics and information operations. Concurrent with her graduate studies, she worked at the U.S. Department of State, where she supported the first U.S.-Papua New Guinea Strategic Partnership Dialogue and the renewal of the Compacts of Free Association at the United Nations. 

Previously, Kaitlyn worked at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute USA, where she contributed to research on Indo-Pacific security dynamics and economic statecraft, including the role of seabed mineral resources in strategic competition in the Indo-Pacific, conflict dynamics in Myanmar, and nuclear energy development in Southeast Asia. She has also worked for DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training.

Ms. Flynn holds an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs with a minor in Korean from the University at Buffalo.
