Prior to joining Beacon, Kelsey was a TechCongress Congressional Innovation Fellow in the U.S. Senate, where she served as a policy advisor on artificial intelligence and cyber policy. Previously, she worked as the Lead Solutions Manager at an AI startup focused on countering foreign influence campaigns online and was also the Project Manager for the Online Speech Project at the American Enterprise Institute. She began her career in Deloitte’s federal consulting practice, supporting a variety of national security clients.
She received her Master’s in Global Policy Studies from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, and Bachelor’s degrees in political science and journalism from Texas Christian University.
