Laura Ochs is an operations and HR professional with over a decade of experience supporting teams through periods of growth and transformation. Her background spans recruiting, compliance, and operational analysis, making her a versatile contributor in dynamic, high-accountability environments.
Laura began her career in hybrid roles that combined finance, operations, and HR, and has consistently gravitated toward positions that bridge functional areas and improve team collaboration. As an Operations Coordinator and later Operations Analyst for National Capitol Contracting, she directly supported federal clients while contributing to internal process improvements and business initiatives. Prior to joining BGS, she served as the sole Recruiter and HR Generalist for a federal IT contractor, where she led end-to-end technical recruiting and onboarding during a period in which the company tripled in size. In addition to implementing HRIS and ATS platforms with real-time dashboards that strengthened compliance and informed executive action, she has helped scale and standardize people operations by combining sound judgment, clear communication, and strong technical aptitude.
She holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts from West Chester University, graduating summa cum laude in both programs.
