Leyla Becker, Chief Human Resources Officer, brings more than 25 years of corporate human capital leadership experience to Beacon Global Strategies. A visionary executive known for putting an organization’s talent at the heart of its business development strategy, she has led the expansion and retooling of HR operations at multiple federal government contracting firms (DoD, intelligence community, and civilian) and diverse commercial organizations. Her achievements in aggressive growth environments include preparing a private global IT enterprise for an IPO, positioning multiple small- and mid-sized companies for merger or acquisition, and serving as General Manager for a national retail chain.
With responsibility for driving BGS’ multiyear staff development strategy as well as overseeing daily HR operations, Ms. Becker draws on her experience leading large strategic corporate initiatives, including HR policy design, compensation planning, performance management, talent acquisition, compliance reporting, HRIS implementations, HR workflow reengineering, training, professional development, DE&I, and benefits negotiation.
Prior to joining BGS, Ms. Becker worked at federal IT services firm Tripoint Solutions, where she supported a five-fold increase in the firm’s headcount, launched HRIS capabilities suitable for the company’s future as a large business, and drove the recruiting of DoD-cleared resources.
While serving as Director of Human Capital Development for Delex Systems (now V2X; NYSE: VVX), Ms. Becker spearheaded the modernization and automation of HR management tools and processes to support the rigorous security clearance and staffing requirements of the firm’s national intelligence programs. She also recruited key subject matter experts for contracts at agencies such as NSA, DIA, FBI, DHS, and the Department of State.
As a hands-on human capital advisor directly involved in business development, Ms. Becker has provided proposal staffing strategies resulting in $100M+ in federal contract award wins during her career. She has also produced measurable top- and bottom-line revenue gains and cost savings through her innovative management of HR technology and budgets.
Ms. Becker graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree and attained her Master of Science degree candidacy in Nutritional Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
