Cara Labrador Joined Beacon Global Strategies in June 2021
Prior to joining BGS, Ms. Labrador worked at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) as an Editorial Associate for Latin America. In this role, she analyzed country and hemispheric developments in politics, petro-politics, trade, corruption, terrorism, narcotrafficking, migration, and human rights. Ms. Labrador previously spent a summer with the Economic Section at the U.S. Embassy in Peru.
Previously, Ms. Labrador served as a Fulbright Scholar in Bogota, Colombia. She has also completed internships with the U.S. Agency for International Development, the United Nations Secretariat, and the European Union External Action Service.
Ms. Labrador graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Government and Classical Studies. She later earned a Master in Public Affairs with a concentration in International Relations from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA). During her time at SPIA, Ms. Labrador served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Public and International Affairs.
