Sacha Gilles started at Beacon Global Strategies as an Analyst in 2023 before joining full-time as an Associate in June 2024. Prior to joining Beacon, he worked as a Program Officer for Tunisia at the International Republican Institute (IRI). At IRI, Mr. Gilles helped manage and implement U.S. government-funded democracy and governance projects to strengthen Tunisian civil society and build responsive political parties. He has also completed internships at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Project on Middle East Democracy (POMED).
Mr. Gilles holds a Joint Honors B.A. in Political Science and Middle East Studies from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He also graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C., with an M.A. in International Relations with concentrations in Security, Strategy, and Statecraft and the Middle East. Mr. Gilles is proficient in French, Spanish, German, and Arabic.
