Sam Everette started at Beacon Global Strategies in 2023 as an Analyst, before joining full-time as an Associate. Prior to his role as an analyst, he was a Stanley A. Weiss Research Associate at Business Executives for National Security (BENS). While at BENS, Mr. Everette tracked and analyzed national security challenges within the private sector, including emerging technologies, workforce development, and defense production. Additionally, he conducted in-depth policy analysis of the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), providing stakeholders with legislative priorities pertinent to the private sector. Mr. Everette also completed a congressional internship for a member of the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees.
Mr. Everette holds a B.A. in International and Global Studies from Sewanee: The University of the South. He holds an M.A. in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, with a concentration in Transnational Security. Concurrent with his M.A., Mr. Everette conducted field research in Central America, evaluating the nexus of transnational criminal organizations and the environment.
