Before joining BGS, Selina Nevin served as a Research Analyst at the U.S. Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), where she analyzed how the Taliban and other politically estranged regimes divert foreign assistance and wrote recommendations to Congress on best practices to mitigate aid diversion. Prior to SIGAR, Selina conducted open-source investigations into the transnational illicit networks that perpetuate the conflict in Sudan at C4ADS. Selina has managed state and federal legislative and legal accounts at Greenberg Traurig’s office in Austin, Texas, and she also represented clients before the Florida legislature as a registered lobbyist.
Selina holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in Global Politics and Security from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in International Relations and Political Science with a double major in Middle Eastern Studies from Florida State University.
