Tommy Panetti Joined Beacon Global Strategies in May 2023
Tommy Panetti joined Beacon Global Strategies in May 2023 as a Business Development Associate. Prior to joining BGS, Tommy worked as a Communications Security (COMSEC) Account Manager for Leidos on a contract for the Department of Homeland Security. At Leidos, he helped manage the largest DHS COMSEC account, managing customers and highly classified equipment all around the world.
Previously, Tommy served as a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy, where he was stationed at Cryptologic Warfare Group 6. At CWG 6, he worked as a Network Engineer, supporting the National Security Agency’s “Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Network” initiative, and separated honorably in November 2019.
Mr. Panetti holds an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with a thematic concentration in security, strategy, and statecraft, and a regional concentration in Europe and Eurasia. During his graduate studies, Mr. Panetti interned in OSD Policy in the Europe/NATO policy office where he was an action officer on the UK desk, focusing on portfolio areas such as AUKUS and British defense donations to support Ukraine’s war effort.
