Raven Stein

Raven B. Stein is a recently retired U.S. Army intelligence officer with nearly 23 years of national security experience. Having served at the highest levels of government — on the Army Staff, the Joint Staff, in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and at the White House National Security Council — Raven possesses deep expertise in the processes and relationships that drive the most consequential national security decisions. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with the U.S. intelligence community and international partners, and has deployed emerging technology to enable decision advantage. From 2023–2025, she served as Director of Legislative Affairs at the NSC, advising senior White House officials and advancing bipartisan policy initiatives with Congress. Her expertise spans defense and intelligence policy, strategic competition, Middle East policy, counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

Raven is a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Military Academy (West Point) with a Bachelor of Arts in Systems Engineering and International Relations. She earned a Master of Arts in International Economics and Strategic Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Raven joined Beacon as Vice President after completing a Senior Defense Fellowship through the DoD SkillBridge Program.
