Beacon Global Strategies (BGS) today announced that Raven Stein has rejoined the firm as a Vice President in its Defense and Aerospace Practice after completing a Senior Defense Fellowship at BGS through the Department of War SkillBridge Program. A recently retired U.S. Army intelligence officer with nearly 23 years of national security experience, Raven brings deep expertise across defense policy, intelligence, and congressional engagement.
Raven has served at the highest levels of government, including on the Army Staff, the Joint Staff, in the Office of the Secretary of War, and at the White House National Security Council (NSC). Most recently, she served as Director of Legislative Affairs at the NSC, where she advised senior White House officials and advanced bipartisan national security initiatives with Congress across a wide range of issues, including defense and intelligence policy, strategic competition, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and Middle East policy.
She has worked extensively with the U.S. intelligence community and international partners, helping to translate emerging technologies into operational and policy advantage. Her experience spans operational intelligence, defense strategy, and the interagency policy process that shapes major national security decisions.

A Distinguished Graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Raven holds a Bachelor of Arts in Systems Engineering and International Relations. She also earned a Master of Arts in International Economics and Strategic Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
